Eston B. Cox, 81, of Veedersburg Route 2, died Friday, Nov. 15, 1974, at the Americana Nursing Home in Danville IL, where he was admitted Oct. 15. Born Aug. 9, 1893, in Kingman, he was the son of Razmuth and Mary Ann Thonlinson Cox. He married Mable Jane Marks in 1919, who preceded him in death. In 1944, he married Blanche Biggs Delp, who survives. He was a a lifetime resident of the Veedersburg and Kingman area and was a farmer and factory worker. He was a member of the Veedersburg United Methodist Church and was a 50-year member of the Kingman Masonic Lodge 314. Other survivors include four daughter's, Mrs. Jim (Helen Louise) Bowling of Irving, Texas, Mrs. William (Lillian) Parent of Danville Ind., Mrs. William (Mildred) Wall of Arvada, CO and Mrs. Dean Barbara Voorhees of Veedersburg Route 2, a son, the Rev. Harold Dane Cox of West Lebanon; a stepson, William O. Del[p of Catlin IL; two sisters, Miss Ethel Cox of Akron, OH and Mrs. Ella Eberly, formerly of Covington; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Four brothers preceded him in death. Services were held at the Veedersburg United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Glen Youngblood officiating. Burial was in Kingman Cemetery at Harveyburg. tch
